Weddings
For years I had my eye on The Howey Mansion-looong before it was renovated into a venue space (an incredibly beautiful one by the way!) so needless to say I was STOKED when Deanice and Jason wanted to book us for their wedding day at that very venue! Their wedding was full of so many unique touches and we also had the dream team for the day as well! We had so much fun spending the day with the two of them and then partying it up into the night!
Hello blue hues and elegance for Anna + Jordan’s wedding day! Ugh I just love it. Everything was positively gorgeous! Anna + Jordan got to have a sweet intimate ceremony the day before their wedding with just them and their family and then the big ol’ party followed the next day at The Preserve! Here’s some glimpses into their sweet wedding day!
Gimme all the classic river wedding vibes. Graysen + Austin had their beautiful wedding full of the most simple and elegant touches at The Preserve at Amelia River Club. There really is just something about sunsets on the Island-they’re so vibrant and glowy! Enjoy some of these sweet moments from their day.
Lydia + Kyler’s wedding was classic and simple and I AM HERE FOR IT! I actually did her sister Aldyn’s wedding around the same time last year (which you can see on our blog just a few posts over!). Lydia LOVES the movie Runaway Bride so the dress she chose was a very similar style to the dress Julia wears when she finally makes it down the aisle to the love of her life! Lydia + Kyler are so fun-loving and free spirited and it was so evident throughout their entire wedding day. As always it was such a pleasure getting to capture another wedding at the beautiful Ribault Club!
It’s always fun working with Luke at our weddings and this time I had the privilege of getting to main shoot for him at Pebble Hill Plantation in Thomasville, GA! This place looks like it’s been plucked out of Souther Brides Magazine and boy does it deliver! The colors and florals Shelby + Jasper picked only made it better! We hope to get to shoot there again soon.
Aldyn + Ryan chose to get married at The Ribault Club on the Northside of Jacksonville, FL. They had the prettiest light and went for simplicity and elegance, which I think we ALL can agree that those two things go together in the most perfect of ways. The Ribault Club really captures the essence of historic Florida with it’s mossy oaks and classic architecture. We love weddings there as they have so many different backdrops to photos and video and the sunsets are *chefs kiss*! We had the honor of having Aldyn and Ryan’s wedding being featured in The Wedding Chicks which we will link at the bottom of this blog post! Make sure you check out their blog too!
Caroline + Jason really incorporated golf into their wedding day! They had their ceremony and reception at The Yards in Ponte Vedra, FL. Guests were able to hit over the water for a chance to win a closest to the pin contest or even put on the putting green if they wanted during cocktail hour. It’s just rare to see golf being used at golf club venues so this was super fun! We’re so excited for these two tying the knot!
Katti + Kevin’s wedding was the DEFINITION of an intimate backyard wedding! The vision they brought to life was so beautiful pulling old vintage prints with all the different shades of blue and all kinds of chinaware. It was a genuine dream. We were also blessed with the dodge of the rainstorm that was predicted to blow through too so honestly their wedding day was perfection! We had so much fun getting to capture such sweet memories for them that will last a lifetime.
Engagements
Madi + TJ are two of the coolest (& super dedicated) humans-where my Ironman homies at?! They have a drive for the things they love and enjoy but more importantly for each other which is so special to not only see but be able to capture as well! They came down to Fernandina Beach for a little getaway vacation/wedding prep trip so we decided to do their session on the beach right behind their airbnb and omggggggggg it did not disappoint!
Lindsay + Ryan-ARE YOU KIDDING ME?! Not only was their session at Vilano Beach both beautiful and breezy but also so stinking fun! I truly haven’t laughed that hard in a while! We climbed on jetties, strolled along the water, saw some birds-truly a romantic evening had as I third wheeled with my camera! Haha. I am so excited for their wedding at The Preserve cause this was only a teeeeensy weeeensy taste of what’s to come!
Lauren + Kevin are what sweet dreams are made of tbh. They were so much fun to flit around Atlantic Beach with and we actually ended up chatting for like 45 mins to an hour after their session! The sunset was gorgeous, the surroundings were gorgeous, they are gorgeous! I just can’t ask for more honestly.
Lauren + Trevor’s sunset session was upon none other than the Blue Star-or as most of us would know it-the sailboat that Matthew McConaughey taught Sarah Jessica Parker to sail on in Failure to Launch! The sunset that evening could not have been more perfect and I loved nothing more than just capturing Lauren + Trevor in such a unique backdrop. Gah I love my job!
Allie + Parker came to Amelia Island for their engagement session and of course Florida weather was weathering. BUT we grabbed some clear umbrellas and embraced it and I am SO happy with what we got in the midst of the cloudy gray skies! We are excited to capture their wedding at Amelia River Club with Within Weddings!
Aubrey + Blake LOVE the beach and are getting married at Casa Marina. When they told me they were looking for a location that could incorporate the beach but also some other backgrounds I instantly thought of Washington Oaks! Washington Oaks is always beautiful but BOY did it deliver with that beautiful sunset and perfect (a little chilly) weather! The colors on the beach were so creamy and delicate and we honestly could not have had any better. We are so excited to capture Aubrey + Blake’s wedding this November!
We are so excited to be able to capture Jen + Buck’s wedding! They are so much fun and I feel like you can really feel it through these photos! The sunset was creamy and delicious and they were perfection! We really could not have asked for more.
Washington Oaks never disappoints and THIS time I got to utilize the gardens to their fullest since Anna + Chris chose to stay there instead of splitting their session between the beach and the gardens. It was quiet and there weren’t many other people around which made for a sweet intimate session. We got to explore more spots than I normally get to use and I just love how their session came out.
We are so excited to capture Amanda + Matt’s wedding this December! They were wanting a pretty sunset glow for their photos and Alpine Groves was the perfect choice. The weather could not have been more perfect and the lighting was GIVING alllll the perfection that evening!
You know how you can usually dodge the classic FL summer rain by doing your shoots in the morning? Yeah not so much for the morning of Maya + Nile’s session! BUT, this is where having such awesome couples who are down for anything is so amazing! I had so much fun laughing and dodging raindrops with Maya + Nile in downtown Fernandina Beach! We were able to hit so many unique spots thanks to the local shop buildings and I am just so happy with how their session came out. RAIN CAN’T KEEP US DOWN!
Family
Brittany + Liam hold such a special place in my soul oh my goodness!! We got to capture their engagement, their wedding, and now their baby girl on the way! I am so so happy they have asked me to capture such important and special moments in their lives because I cannot get enough of them. They are two of the kindest human beings and are always down to talk all things PT and the human body which I LOVE having been a PTA!! I’m so excited for them to step into parenthood cause it’s a super cool hood! Corny joke but OH WELLLL!
Victoria and Mike are such sweet friends of ours and I have loved getting to capture so many stages of their family. This time they are welcoming their second little babe this May and ITS A GIRL! They wanted a beach session so we decided to go with North Guana Preserve so we could get a nice mix of those tall mountainous dunes and the beach and lemme tell you that sunset SLAYED! Victoria was absolutely glowing and Ben did an AWESOME job smiling and giving mama all the kisses!
We’ve had the pleasure of getting to work with the Wilburs over the last couple of years and they are the absolute sweetest! When Shae reached out and asked me to do their family session I was more than happy! We had so much fun wrangling the kids and capturing some sweet memories for this precious family.
Oh The Barrentines! We finally got around to doing their family photos since their sweet second boy was born! We had so much fun chasing after those two boys around and laughing at all the crazy things they did! It’s been such a cool blessing getting to capture each stage of their family and we are so thankful to call them some of our best friends!
Jenica reached out to me a couple of months ago for family photos on the beach while they were here on vacation. I could not have asked for more beautiful lighting. The sunset was SO pretty-I guess that’s one nice thing that comes from all these summer storms! This sweet family was so fun to work with and I can’t wait to shoot with them again!
The Scott Family! Oh how we love them! We’ve gotten to capture both Josh + Liz and Jake + Allie’s weddings and now we get to capture some family memories for them as well! We made it just in time to get their photos in before it started raining again but I have to say-the storm really made that sky glowy! It makes me so so happy when people come back to have sessions with me. I really love getting to give people the gift of memories through each step of life!
I’ve been friends with Haley since high school and it makes my heart so happy to watch her family grow! I love when I get to photograph sweet friends! Cheers to more sweet babies and loving fams!
